Privacy Policy

Leash League is a booking app operated by SAT Digital Labs LLC ("we"). Independent, locally run teams use it to schedule neighborhood dog walks. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, used to sign in with a one-time code.
- Client details: name, mobile number, pickup address, and notes you choose to add.
- Pet details: names, breed, size, vet contact, and care or behavior notes.
- Bookings: walk times, status, walk start and finish times, the walker's note, and an optional photo.
- Payments: a record of charges and payments made directly to your walker. We never collect card or bank details.
- Notification settings: your email, text and push preferences, including when you opted in or out of texts.
We do not track your location. Walk photos are re-encoded on the walker's phone before upload, which removes embedded location data.
How we use it
Only to run the service: scheduling and confirming walks, letting the team that walks your dog see what it needs, sending the notifications you've chosen, and keeping a payment history. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
- The team you book with: its administrator and walkers see your client and pet details and your bookings. Other teams on Leash League cannot.
- Service providers that host and deliver the app: Supabase (database, sign-in and storage), Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email) and Twilio (text messages), under their own privacy and security terms.
- Authorities, if required by law.
Text messaging
If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send messages about your bookings. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. See the text message terms.
How long we keep it
Walk photos are deleted automatically after a period set by your team (90 days by default). If you stop using a team, your personal details are removed after a period of inactivity (about 18 months by default) once nothing is owed; the payment record is kept without your contact details, as required for the team's tax records. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Children
Clients must be adults. Walkers under 18 use the app only on a team managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13.
Security
- Encrypted fields: your mobile number, pickup address, the team's notes about you, and your pets' behavior and care notes are encrypted (AES-256) before they are stored. The key is held in a separate secure vault, so a copy of the database or its backups does not reveal them.
- Access rules: strict database rules limit each person to what their role requires, and they are enforced by the database itself, not just the app.
- Two-step sign-in: team administrators must confirm a code from an authenticator app before they can see client details.
- In transit and at rest: all data is encrypted in transit, and the database is also encrypted at rest by our hosting provider.
- We never store door codes or key locations, and we ask you not to add them to notes. Names, email addresses and walk times are protected by the access rules but are not separately encrypted, because the app needs them to sign you in and schedule walks.
Your choices
You can update your details, pets and notification settings in the app under Account, and ask us to access or delete your information by emailing support@example.com.
